   I just want to say thank you. I have always loved this song and wanted to play but I am quite a novice in playing the piano. By watching you,I’ve been able to learn it enough to play it and enjoy. Thanks again, and keep it up.

   Hi Chris, thank you so much for this post! I’m trying to re-teach myself piano (VERY novice) and I love this song. I’m having trouble deciphering your left hand. Do you think you could help me out? Maybe record just the left hand or something to that extent? THANK YOU times a million!! =)

   the left hand is just the tonics of the chord… that is, the first note. So if it’s a C Major chord you’re playing on the right hand, you have to play a C on the left hand.

   Thanks so much for posting this. I play piano, too, but I always need somebody else to accompany me when I sing in church because I don’t know chords very well. Now I can do it by myself. Thanks.
